The World of Future Farming
The future of Agriculture & Farming has already begun in most areas around the world. The way food is Grown, Harvested, & Produced is greatly changing. New understandings of Air-Layering, which some call Natural Cloning, is making new food production much quicker and more beneficial than before. Other well-used techniques such as Aquaponics that raise both Fish & Produce for harvesting, are becoming more widely used as a complete Protein & Plant source. Drones are also making their way into the equation, and Vertical Farming is the new Big Thing!
With these changes, our ongoing food production will allow for Completely Organic Crops to be produced on a much wider and faster scale than before. They will render better quality foods that can be grown without the need for harmful Insecticides to protect them. These processes use much less water than any standard crops and yield a healthier harvest.
Traditional farming of Standard Crops has also changed with new harvesting machines that make the gathering of food much faster and easier than before. Large Scale Farms use huge harvesting tractors now that works incredibly well on multiple levels to speed up the gathering-to-production end process. This also eliminates the need for most workers and saves thousands of dollars per day on manpower.
With the planet's Growing Population quickly rising, these new areas and technologies will be the way that over 90% of food is grown and rendered. The focus on farming now should be to use a little space as is possible to grow the most amount of High-Quality Healthy Organic Food as can be produced.
Local Farming Solutions
Local farming solutions can begin with the direct use of hydroponics and chicken coops. This would not only provide the extra needed fertilizer for the in-ground soil of certain crops while giving the necessary nutrients for all of the plants grown via the hydroponics, but it would also provide the constant protein of chicken eggs, fish, and chicken meat. People need to greatly reduce their constant overconsumption of red meat from cattle and pigs anyway.
Current red meat consumption does far too much damage to the environment in the amount of land and natural resources that are needed to raise them for slaughter, and it takes up most of the grain crops to feed them. Cattle and pigs consume nearly three times more of our total amount of cereal grain crops each year than do all the humans on earth. That is not only taking up far too much space and land to grow, but it is also taking a massive amount of grains directly away from human use. Therefore, a healthier and wiser choice would be to mainly rely on chicken, turkey, eggs, nuts, dairy products, soybeans, and fish for 90% or more of our protein needs.
Having a complete setup of the basic needs for local communities in one place offers a much more stable and healthier environment and economy as well. This also reduces the cost of food and the reliance on stores during natural disasters, war, economic issues, and food shortages. Thus, it is a very healthy and completely natural way to live.
If we also add to the above factor by getting most of the local residents to start growing a small amount of some of their basic needs, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc., which are all items that are very easy to grow and maintain—even out of a small apartment—we will greatly reduce the total amount of produce actually needed from local farms. As the old saying states, "Every little bit helps."
In the end, it all comes down to a little responsibility, better local stability, and the most basic use of common sense. Having a better, stronger, more intelligent, and positive approach towards our most basic needs being met as a team is what the world really needs most in many areas and ways. Just a little learning and a small amount of effort can go a long—long way. It doesn't take massive farms and large amounts of land to properly feed the masses; it just takes a good, responsible, and intelligent plan to do it right. I say, "Let's Get to It!"

The future of farming must start with the present, by only using Regenerative Agriculture to repair our planet's soils and control the amount of carbon that is in the air. What we eat and how we farm, is crucial for our health and the stability of our world. This is why lowering our consumption of red meat and relying more on healthy naturally grown foods will be the focus of all future generations.
